We'd rather argue a useless, senseless argument about nothing that will actually resolve a given problem rather than look in the alley because to look in the alley might actually uncover things we'd rather not uncover.
These articles are for those who see that old ideas are not working. I realize that dreaming is disdained, scorned, called "naive." What can be more "naive" than accepting the status quo that is doing nothing but bringing pain, misery, unemployment, loss of security and similar evils? If nothing else, dreams create openings for new ideas and without dreams, we stagnate. And dreams can become reality.
If you do not dream and ask "Why not?," then you are stuck in the same old, same old mindset. That has never worked for me. I am a questioner, a seeker of truths. I cannot abide arguing the argument. I have to dig deeper.
If you "buy into" these ideas, do not believe that you will be in a majority at your next cocktail party discussion. You will be in the minority. Do not be dismayed. What counts is the truth.
